EASY-TO-USE-DIRECTIONS
To start, moisten the Hanging Basket & Planter Box
Mix prior to use - apply a fine mist of water while
turning the mix until moist. Fill hanging basket or container
to 1/3 with the moistened mixture. Remove the plants from
the original container and position in the center of the
new container. Fill the balance of the container with additional
moistened Hanging Basket & Planter Box Mix. Leave 2
cm / 1 in. at the top to allow for swelling and expansion
of Water Crystals. Once Water Crystals are saturated, they
take on a gel texture. Lightly press the mixture around
the root balls to eliminate air pockets and firm plants
into container. Water plants thoroughly after initial planting.
DO NOT USE
for growing vegetables and herbs. Use Groundskeeper's Pride
100% Organic Composted Potting Soil for all your edible
vegetables and herbs.
TRANSPLANTING:
GroundsKeeper's Pride Hanging Basket and Planter Box Mix
is ideal for transplanting into indoor and outdoor containers.
After transplanting, monitor plants to ensure they are adapting
to their new environment. Supplement plant nutritional needs
with Groundskeeper's Pride 100% premium ORGANIC Compost
or our Groundskeeper's Pride 100% Organic Advantage 8-4-5
fertilizer which provides nutrients in the same ration as
your plant has already become accustomed to! Many plants
experience shock when being moved from one environment to
another.
PLANT MAINTENANCE:
Quick growing outdoor plants and houseplants that are watered
more than once a week may require additional nutrients.
Adding 2-5 Tbsp. of GroundsKeeper's Pride 100% Organic Advantage
8-4-5 fertilizer to the top of the soil will provide the
added nutrient boost your cherished plants need.
